i took this first picture because ellie is so cute and sweet every morning when she wakes up.

seriously. she is cute.

 a few minutes later i was making fruit dip, and this child scooted a stool over so she could see what was happening. [ha.naughty.] then she wanted a lick.

 what a mess.

 later that evening i thought she was reading books in her room, being a good girl. then i knew it was too quiet. she found a black sharpie!! yikes. this was after 2 baths. [and yes, she still has a binky on occasion.. okay, on a lot of occasions.. sue me. ha!]

darren took us to the treehouse museum friday night

and we had so much fun!

ellie got to be a cowgirl.

and she got to play angry birds!

it was such a good night!

easter.

we started off our easter celebration at our ward's

annual easter egg hunt.

ellie loved it!

she wasn't the best hunter of the bunch,

she got too distracted by her friends having such a good time.

the hunt was at our old bishop's house,

he has the best yard,

& the sweetest goats i've ever seen.

 easter sunday.

the easter bunny didn't let us down this year.

 ellie was thrilled.

her newest habit. she says "wow" and covers her mouth.

 ellie did much better at her very own hunt.

until she realized her eggs had prizes in them...

 after her hunt we went to church,

and had the best sacrament,

and fun lessons.

after church we went to my aunt karens house for easter dinner

and another egg hunt.

[side note: my child is obessed with animals, mostly cats and dogs.]

 cat ballou was a HUGE distraction for this egg hunt.

 luckily she has good grandma's and grandpa to look after her, and guide her to the eggs.

we had such a happy easter!

and we are so excited spring is here!

my parents fence blew over in a storm a few weeks ago.

ellie has been so concerned about it.

everytime we went over we had to go check out the broken fence.

and she would say

"oh, where it go?'

saturday the fence got fixed,

and ellie wanted to help.

she really enjoyed the mixing of the cement.

she even got to make her handprint.

what a good helper. :)
